Yes I feel like I am going to burst – but there is nothing wrong with me. It’s just that I am enjoying creating quick posts called “Bursts” on a new site called NetLeeks and it’s becoming somewhat addicting as well as profitable.
NetLeeks was created by several other well known lensmasters on Squidoo, with the purpose of making a quick and easy way to promote your lenses, but there is far more to it than promoting lenses as you will see.
A “Burst” consists of a Title and up to 5 Links, which you copy/paste into a single field and hit the “Burst” button. This magically creates a post with each of the links expanded, and you can then go in and edit this, changing the text, selecting the best thumbnail that is available for each link, and adding your own unique description underneath.
“Ok fine, this will work if I have multiple lenses in the same niche” you might say, “but what else is it good for?”
NetLeeks is not limited to promoting Squidoo lenses, in fact you can build Bursts for Amazon links, Zazzle products, and just about anything that you can think of.
If this attempt at an enthusiastic description still sounds vague and sketchy, a picture paints a thousand words, and in this case some examples will show you far more than a long article. Take a look at My Latest Bursts and see what varied types of product you can promote.
“But does it work?” I hear you asking…
Put it this way, less than 2 weeks ago I created my first Burst that contained Amazon links for Toaster Ovens. So far I have sold 3 Toaster Ovens that are attributable to this Burst, one of which was for $140!
Whether you want to get more backlinks to your lenses, to boost your sales of products on Amazon, Zazzle or any other affiliate site, NetLeeks is definitely well worth a try.
