As a Jamie At Home Party Consultant I get invited to people’s homes to party a lot! This time however, I decided to do something in my own home for charity and get all of my friends together for a coffee morning, in aid of the Jamie Oliver Foundation. We raised £53-, not bad for a first attempt. I gave half of my commission to the charity, we had raffle charity squares for sale and a “guess how many sweets in the jar” game. I also had a party in the evening when we invited the star guest, Jamie Oliver to give a cookery demonstration (just on DVD unfortunately)! One lady at the coffee morning even came along to the evening party with her husband! The house was covered in balloons, nibbles and the Jamie homeware collection for the day and friends were coming and going for much of it.
It was a lovely day. I met so many whom I hadn’t seen for a while and I sold a good amount of products to raise enough money to make it worth while. A tiring, but rewarding day.

Sounds like a great event, I love getting together and spending quality time over coffee!
